Nina Mukherji

Nina Mukherji received her M.S. in Conservation Biology and Sustainable Development from the Gaylord Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies at UW-Madison. Her research focused on urban agriculture policy and she helped to develop permissive zoning language for urban agriculture in Madison and later in Boston, Massachusetts. Nina is also a long-time community organizer and spent 10 years on the national leadership staff of Real Food Challenge, a student food justice organization. She is raising two young children and continues to support social movements through consulting and as a volunteer.
